Celebrating the life of Charmian Patton, 1953 - 2007.

The life, laughter and love of Charmian Patton

A much loved lady, caring and generous. A wife and mum second to none. A trustworthy, loyal friend. A devoted daughter. A sister of many. A giving neighbour. That was Charmian, who was much loved.

Brian spoke the words "We'll see you again soon", as she left us here and went to her beloved Lord. So yes, until we see her again, let's celebrate the life of Charmian together.

The Lifestory of Charmian Irene Patton

The Early Years - January 1953 - December 1963

One of many...growing up in North Belfast

"Byon" my big sister Charmiane - 1960

As a small child I couldn't say Charmiane but I Called my big sister "Byon". Byon was very special - when I start primary school I had to have "Byon" with me for a full week. Byon had a bad accident when she seriously had a very large cut to her leg I cried myself to sleep "byon's in the saucebottle". She was a wonderful sister, nothing was too much trouble for her, she always put others first. She is never too far away from my thoughts...cherished memories which I hold very dear.
Miss you Byon

The Girls Model Years - 1963 - 1969

Head girl indeed...caught the eye of a young Brian Patton - blonde hair turned many a head.

The Big Romance - 1970 - 1972

The making of a true movie love story. Young love separated by 1000's of miles of ocean. Until Charmian pleaed "Sailor, stop your roaming".

Love and marriage followed

Charmian and Brian - early 70's lovebirds

100 brushes of that hair!

As a child my visits to my Aunt Charmian's house were always a bitter-sweet event, I loved to go over there so much and play with my three cousins, and there was always a vast selection of home baking on offer ......Charmians speciality!
However the minute I got there my Aunty would give my tangled hair "100 brushes" with her hair brush! Until it was shiny and tidy, really not me!

We loved her in so many ways she is deeply missed.....Shine On!
